The Senior PeopleSoft Analyst will work with HR/Finance end users and IT to maintain and improve operation of PeopleSoft, and related HRIS/Finance systems and processes. This position, working closely with the Director of Technology, will be responsible for support of the PeopleSoft HRMS and related systems including troubleshooting issues, identifying long-term solutions, testing enhancements and fixes, identifying and rolling out new functionality, supporting non-discretionary and regulatory requirements and support the training efforts of our users.  The role will also act as a functional lead for medium to large size projects by gathering requirements, establishing the design and organizing the testing effort.  This Senior PeopleSoft Analyst role will recommend process improvements and/or policy changes for approval by leadership.

This position requires the applicant to work in Milwaukee.

What you'll be doing:  

  1. Perform PeopleSoft HRMS/Finance foundation table setup for new companies, locations, departments, job codes, positions and establishments
  2. Setup and test mass update transactions such as acquisition data, annual pay increases, addition of job codes and addition of position management codes
  3. Serve as key point of contact to provide customer support for HRIS/Finance questions and issues by researching and resolving simple to complex policy and transactional questions related to the use of PeopleSoft and HR administrative policies and practices
  4. Deliver both simple and complex report solutions to PeopleSoft HRMS/Finance users
  5. Create HRMS training documents for the training of both Corporate and Field level HR users
  6. Lead, participate and assist with coordination of testing of any proposed updates or additions to HRMS/Finance systems
    • Develop complex specification documentation
  7. Lead configuration and design efforts for new functionality - delivered or custom
    • Work as the functional lead for new implementations, upgrades and/or major integrations of 3rd party applications
  8. Maintain awareness of current trends in HRMS with a focus on product and service development, delivery and support, and applying key technologies
  9. Continuously increase both HR knowledge and HRIS/Finance application/tools knowledge through classes, reading, participation in user group meetings/conferences or other mechanisms
  10. Develop/deliver communications in partnership with business leaders related to new system functionality
  11. Other duties as assigned

What we are looking for:

  1. BA/BS Degree
  2. Requires 5-7+ years of HR related work from a business perspective
  3. Requires 5-7+ years development or technology related experience
  4. Expert in PeopleSoft HRMS or Finance application/s or experience with cloud based HCM systems like Oracle HCM, UKG Pro or Workday
  5. Experience with UKG Dimensions/UKG Pro WFM is desirable
  6. Proficient with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong attention to detail
  8. Excellent organizational skills, with the proven ability to perform multiple priorities with minimal direct supervision
  9. Strong interpersonal and customer-service skills with the ability to interact effectively with associates at all levels of the organization and to represent the department in a professional manner
  10. Ability to handle data with confidentiality, exhibit high ethical standards and maintain a high degree of professionalism
