We are in search of a Pro Shop Cashier at $12 per hour to join our Grand team at our 1,300 acre Grand Geneva Resort & Spa in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. Recognized as a Top Resort in the Midwest by Conde Nast Traveler, this award-winning, all-seasons destination features over 746 guest accommodations, the WELL Spa & Salon, two championship golf courses, fitness facilities, a ski hill and terrain park, and 9 unique food and beverage outlets.

About the role

Respect the green! Become guest satisfaction driven as a Golf Pro Shop Cashier by assisting in all golf shop operations.

What will you be doing?

·       Check in golfers.

·       Ring in Group Outings

·       Sell merchandise

·       Monitor and fill out proper paperwork including membership paperwork.

·       Answer phone enquiries.

·       Take tee time reservations.

·       Sell gift certificates on the golf course for Event Hole.

·       Record cash taken in vs. dollar value given out in gift certificates.

·       Maintain cleanliness of locker room, issue lockers for guests, and stock locker room supplies.

·       Weekly inventory and locker room supplies list given to Head Professional.

·       Assist with spike changes and shoe shining.

·       Issue rental shoes.

·       Handle cash, make change and balance an assigned house bank

·       Perform simple arithmetic functions.

·       Assist with daily golf operations as directed by Professional Staff.

·       Monitor golf course and weather conditions through GPS, and DTN Weather computer.

·       Handle cash, make change and balance an assigned house bank.  Perform simple arithmetic functions using a calculator

·       Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Someone who is passionate about people and travel
• Willing to work weekends
• LOVES meeting new people and interacting with guests
• Has reliable transportation to and from work
• Past experience in hotels and customer service a plus
• Enjoys proactively using their creativity to personalize the guest experience
