The Talent Acquisition Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all training manuals and other materials remain compliant with training requirements. This position will also oversee the recruitment process and maintain all processes to ensure retention and utilize any feedback from new associates especially during their probationary period.

Alongside the Director of Human Resources and the Human resources Coordinator, the Talent Acquisition manager will create a sense of belonging and prioritize making meaningful connections with associates at all levels. While it is not required, the willingness to occasionally support the operations team outside of traditional office hours is greatly valued.

Responsibilities

Recruitment:

  • Identifying cutting-edge recruiting methods, pipeline building, candidate selection, and hiring.
      • Conduct background check and send offer to candidate
      • Schedule I-9 appointment with HR coordinator and Hiring Manager
      • Once offer is accepted and all new hire paperwork is completed, then formally schedule the new associate for New Hire Orientation.

 

  • Responsible for building and evaluating the entire recruiting function and continuously finding opportunities for improvement
  • Responsible for bringing innovation to the recruiting function, and provide a top notch candidate experience for our candidates while driving diversity and inclusion throughout the recruiting process
  • Conduct analysis and provide reporting metrics to drive success in the recruiting and retention functions that focus on turnover percentages and trends
  • Induct, coach, and mentor new Team Members through 30-60-90 day feedback
  • Coordinate Openings/Vacancies on all recruitment platforms
  • Create a Job List weekly with all open positions to be sent internally to management to best keep up to date on hiring needs for each department.

Training and Development:

  • Lead New Hire Orientation
  • Act as a change catalyst for cultural and organizational transformation through the development of Training processes and hospitality trends
  • Serve as an integral component of the Human Resources function by supporting learning and development initiatives through Saint Kates 8 and Committed to Excellence training framework
  • Support departments in developing leadership capabilities through manager training
  • Provide key input of Training aspects for all activities and plans of the Hotel
  • Support individual and team development, career development, and training and experience-based learning (identifying trainers through each department, conduct train the trainer sessions)
  • Conduct stay interviews to reduce turnover along with tracking resigning trends and hosting feedback sessions with the department heads
  • Collaborate with departments to deliver training programs and other organizational and leadership development.
  • Prepare annual training plans and training calendars for the hotel team members to ensure the hotel is compliant on all training materials.

 

What we are looking for:

  • College degree or equivalent
  • Prior experience in Human Resources (2-3 years) and Hospitality/Customer Service industry (1-2 years)
  • 1-2 years in a full-cycle recruiting role highly preferred
  • Must be able to work an average of 40-45 hours a week on site
