Hilton Milwaukee City Center is searching for an Admin Assistant to provide administrative and project support to Engineering Department. You will continually work towards and support the improvement of engineering services to both guests and associates.  In this role you are the liaison for Director of Engineering to associates, vendors, and guests with regards to all aspects of the engineering operation. 

What will you be doing?

• Answer telephone and respond to caller inquiries.
• Accurately record and distribute messages.  Communicate with other hotel associates to relay pertinent information.
• Plan and execute various special projects with the guidance of management.
• Organize, file, distribute, fax, and other essential functions necessary in the daily department operation.  This includes but is not limited to, maintaining department checkbooks and purchase orders, confirming orders, receipt of preventive maintenance logs, and distribution of maintenance requests.
• Acts as liaison with vendors and guests in Manager's absence.
• All other duties as assigned.

What do you bring to the role?

• Good communication skills, both written and oral
• Good organization skills
• Fluent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook)
• Ability to input data into a word processor at a minimum rate of 60 w.p.m.
• Basic secretarial knowledge such as business letters, formats, and telephone etiquette
• High school diploma required
