Group Rooms Coordinator

Description

Marcus Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Group Rooms Manager to join our Milwaukee team! This role will support the Hilton Milwaukee City Center, The Pfister Hotel and Saint Kate – The Arts Hotel.  We are seeking an engaged candidate who will showcase a positive attitude, a proactive approach to problem solving, an eagerness and initiative to learn and jump in on projects.

What will you be doing?

·                     Ensure group inventory is accurately and efficiently maintained.

·                     Enter group blocks and rooming lists.

·                     Set up group billing.

·                     Enter and modify VIP reservations.

·                     Generate various reports.

·                     Act as a customer service liaison between our sales team and events teams.

·                     Perform other duties as assigned.

What do you bring to the role?

·                     Must have at least 3 years of Hotel Front Office or Hotel Reservations Experience

·                     Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word.

·                     Must have knowledge of PMS/RMS Systems (OnQ, Opera, R&I, GRO, IDeasG3)
