Do you have a passion for Marketing and Hospitality? Marcus Hotels & Resorts is searching for a Milwaukee Area Food & Beverage Marketing Manager. This role will report to the Milwaukee Area Director of Marketing and requires a proactive marketing professional to promote multiple projects across the restaurants, bars, and spa located within The Pfister Hotel, Saint Kate – The Arts Hotel, and the Hilton Milwaukee City Center. We are seeking a fun-loving, team-oriented, innovative marketing professional, that is always on the lookout for imaginative ways to drive revenue through new and creative strategies.
This position provides strategic and tactical execution on all marketing and public relations efforts. Experience and good working knowledge of public relations along with digital, email, video, and social media marketing is essential to succeeding in this role. Great communication and exceptional written skills are important for success in this role to engage and manage expectations with a variety of stakeholders as well as external resources.
What you’ll be doing:
· Manage the development and execution of comprehensive marketing plans/calendars and programs, both short and long range, to support sales & revenue objectives of each restaurant, bar, and spa outlet.
· Implement tactics outlines in yearly marketing plans.
· Oversee marketing efforts across all locations and ensure all deadlines are met. Identify opportunities to improve performance, research, and present solutions to Area Director of Marketing.
· Vet incoming opportunities and leverage relationships with local partnerships, venues and events to create additional marketing opportunities using social media and email marketing.
· Serve as liaison with third-party agencies on all efforts including public relations, digital advertising, partnership campaigns, and more.
· Lead reporting efforts on media spend, marketing efforts, along with agency and partner support to track successes or identify areas to improve.
· Maintain and analyze reporting documents to identify trends, what factors played into outcome, and pivot based on results.
· Oversee the development and production of promotional and collateral materials.
· Manage online listings for outlets, including Google, Yelp, OpenTable, Tock, etc.
· Oversee and create promotional ads and email creative for outlets, ensuring advertising deadlines are met.
· Collaborate with Social Media Manager to create content for the social media channels for each restaurant, bar, and spa outlet.
· Oversee and analyze online reputation management through revinate or other equal service.
· Maintain brand standards throughout all aspects of guest journey: website, emails, advertisements, promotional materials, communications, events, and more.
· Manage, moderate, and implement regular meetings with restaurant and spa operations.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
What you’ll bring:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or PR related field is preferred.
· 3-5 years of experience in the marketing field required; experience in a hospitality environment highly desired.
· Experience with Canva, Adobe InDesign and/or Photoshop preferred.
· Interest in producing video content.
· Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate various options and quickly make recommendations.
· Outstanding organizational and project management skills with strong attention to detail.
· Demonstrates flexibility, adaptability, and working effectively with changing/competing work priorities.
