As a 3rd Shift Safety Officer at the Grand Geneva Resort & Spa, you play an integral part in ensuring the hotel guests, associates, and hotel property are maintained in a safe and secure environment.

What will you be doing?

  • Maintain safety for guests and associates while protecting property through continuous foot and vehicle patrols of the 1,300-acre campus including the restaurants, lobby area, associate entrance, banquet areas, guest floors, service and parking areas. 
  • Respond to emergency incidents and security requests 
  • Operate a dispatch center, handling key control, fire alarm and CCTV monitoring, and dispatching routine and emergency calls.
  • Write professional case reports on incidents.
  • Collect all package passes and parcels taken from the hotel 
  • Perform proactive security, safety, and loss prevention practices.
  • Investigate situations and conditions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What do you bring to the role?

  • Prior experience in security, military, or EMS preferred. Knowledge of security and law enforcement practices is a plus.
  • College education preferred.
  • Knowledge of local laws and ordinances.  
  • Exceptional people skills, customer service mentality and strong writing & logical thinking abilities.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and the public.
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, and use hands for extended periods.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including overnight, weekends and holidays.
  • Must be computer literate.
