POSITION PURPOSE:  The Banquet Concierge Supervisor position was created to not only meet, but exceed the expectations of meeting & event planners and guests. This position is a proactive, empowered problem solver who provides meeting & event planners with seamless, on-site support.  The Banquet Concierge Supervisor acts as a liaison between the meeting & event planners & the Banquet/Events team during the event phase of the meeting or special event. This position is a highly visible representative of the hotel who is aimed towards addressing guest needs, anticipation and resolution of potential problems.

 As our Banquet Concierge Supervisor, you would:

·         Give support to the meeting planner from the start of their program to the end, insuring everything goes smoothly.

·         Communicate all guest requests to the Banquet, Culinary, AV team and other departments as necessary.

·         Go above and beyond for the meeting planner and/or provide daily delighters.

·         Proactively anticipate and address event guest needs.

·         Check meeting rooms sets for accuracy against the Banquet Event Order.

·         Service Menu Taste Panels.

·         Handle guest shipments.

·         Make keys for meeting rooms.

·         Manage department purchasing/inventory.

·         Manage weekly linen orders.

·         Prepare directional signage.

·         Maintain & distribute the Meeting Planner Toolkit.

·         Assist in preparing for hotel tours/site visits.

·         Manage meeting room maintenance reports.

·         Attend pre-convention meetings.

·         Attend daily Banquet Event Order Meetings.

·         Prepare Daily Recaps.

·         Supervise and trains staff in the set up and break down of assigned banquet rooms according to contract and manager's instructions.

·         Supervise and trains staff in the service of food and beverages according to standards.

·         Communicate frequently with supervisors as to the progress of the day's work.

·         Supervise and trains staff in maintaining cleanliness of banquet rooms, banquet pantry, public areas, and storage areas.

·         Process banquet bills on a daily basis.

·         Supervise and trains staff to conform to Hyatt's high standards of quality and service.

·         Establish and maintain effective associate relations.

·         Ensure appropriate standards of conduct, dress, hygiene, and appearance are maintained.

·         Possess full knowledge and participation in the hotel's Fire, Safety, Security, and Environmental plan and/or committees.

·         Perform other duties as assigned.
